1. What size batteries does the battery box take?
One coin cell battery, style no. CR2450 is required. One battery is included in the purchase of your petLight collar. Additional batteries are available at most stores or can be purchased from us for a cost of $1.75. Please use our website www.petLights.com to order or call us toll free at (877)622-1777.
2. How long do the batteries last?
Under normal usage, we expect one set of batteries to last for a minimum of 150 hours.
3. How do you change the batteries?
Open the battery box by inserting a flat object such as a screwdriver or paperclip into the slot on the front side of the box. Push down and raise the lid. Slide the old battery out of the clip and slide a new CR-2450 type battery into the slot with the poistive side up. Snap the box closed by pushing down on the lid.
4. How do I turn the lights on?
There is a push button switch on the top of the box. Press down firmly on the switch to engage and disengage the lights.
5. Is the dog collar waterproof?
No. The dog collar should be removed before swimming.
6. What happens if the dog collar gets wet?
When your pet returns indoors, remove the dog collar and allow it to dry completely. Change the battery to prevent corrosion.
7. Up to what distance is the dog collar visible?
With a new battery, the dog collar is visible up to one quarter mile. The distance will decrease as the battery wears down.
8. How do I know what sized collar to buy my pet?
Measure your pet's neck with a tape measure. Sizing is as follows:
Small fits neck sizes 10" - 12.5" (5 lights)
Medium fits neck sizes 14" - 19" (7 lights)
Large fits neck sizes 16" - 22" (10 lights)
XL fits neck sizes 16 - 27" (10 lights)
9. What happens if I want to return the dog collar?
All dog collars are fully refundable up to 60 days from date of purchase. Send the dog collar, along with a proof of purchase to:

10. Can my pet wear this collar during the day?
